May 2010

Last night we attended an event hosted by The Knot at the beautiful Scripps Seaside Forum. If you’re looking for a unique, seaside wedding venue, this is a fantastic place! The  ultra modern architecture,  breathtaking water views,  and blank canvas for decor have the potential to make a fabulous wedding. The Peltiers were married here last October and we never got a chance to blog their photos. The bright green/ hot pink decor, beautiful wedding party and happy couple helped John to create some stunning photos.

Mandy and Jason were married  at the Keyways Winery in Temecula. Mandy was a stunning bride in her Paloma Blanca dress, and Nina shoes. The beautiful outdoor wedding overlooking the vineyards included a Persian tradition of honey dipping. The newlyweds and their guests danced the night away to the sounds of Sterling DJ under the elegant tent.                               Congrats Mandy & Jason!!

Eva and Gennaro are one of the most loving couples I’ve seen in a long time. Only weeks away from their June wedding, they met up with Scott at the Sculpture Garden in Balboa Park for some fun and artistic photos. They also made at stop at Harbor Island to capture a few romantic moments by the water. Stay tuned for more of these lovebirds in June!

I spent the morning shooting a few panoramics for a multi media project on San Diego, I’m working on. Accessed by a 2 mile bridge the Hotel Del Coronado is one of the largest, and oldest, all wooden buildings in California.  The onshore wind makes it a popular area for kite surfers.

John came back from Italy last week and shot his first wedding of the year at the beautiful Rancho Valencia Resort.  Mindi & Tom, are a very cool, laid back couple who live in the Bay Area but decided on San Diego for an intimate Spanish inspired wedding. The vibrant flowers were provided by Custom Floral Design and the bride walked down the aisle to the strumming sounds of guitarist Jimmy Patton.  Thank you Mindi & Tom for letting us be a part of your day ~ Congrats!
